Information We Collect

Folia has no accounts and no servers of our own. The name you enter, the quotes you save, the notes you write, your reading streak and your preferences are stored only on your device. We have no copy of them and no way to read them. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Photo Library Access

Folia asks for permission to add a photo to your library only when you save a share card. This permission is write only. We do not access, read or upload photos already in your library.

Notifications

Your daily reminder is scheduled on your device by iOS. There is no push server and no message is sent from us. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

In-App Purchases

Folia requires a paid subscription. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not see or store your payment information.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated for your installation, your purchase receipt, and basic device and country information. It does not receive your name, your notes or anything else you write. For details, visit revenuecat.com/privacy.

Analytics & Crash Reports

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate, and Firebase Crashlytics to receive reports when the app crashes. These collect an app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, approximate region, and events describing interactions such as opening a screen or turning a page.

The content of what you read or write is never included. We do not send your name, your notes or any quote text to Firebase. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. For details, visit firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Advertising

Folia contains no advertising and no ad networks. We do not sell or share your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Folia does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Because almost everything stays on your device, you can access or delete your information directly in the app, or by deleting the app. For information held by our service providers, write to us and we will act on your request.

Changes to This Policy

We may modify this policy periodically. Updates are posted on this page.
